Your Facebook page is not a website
Renting your audience works until the landlord changes the rules.
For many Bangladeshi brands the Facebook page is the shop window, the catalogue and the checkout. It is free, everyone is already there, and inbox orders feel personal. So why bother with a website?
Because a page is rented. Reach goes up and down with decisions you do not make. A hacked account, a policy flag or a change in the feed can wipe out years of work overnight, and you cannot export your customers.
A website is the one place you own. It ranks on Google when someone searches for what you sell. It can take payment without twenty messages back and forth. It gives your ads somewhere better to land than a post that scrolls away.
The answer is not to choose. Keep the page for conversation and community; make the website the place where decisions happen. Link every post back to a product page, and watch how many questions the product page answers on its own.
